Enjoying Good Health

Developing a healthy lifestyle as a higher education student or professional is essential to overall success. In order to effectively aim and hit your targeted higher education and professional goals, good health serves as a positive element towards individual efficiency.

Perhaps you’ve heard about or experienced the “freshmen fifteen” whilst pursuing an undergraduate degree or witnessed a graduate school student or professor talk about struggles with  “emotional/stress eating.” The previously mentioned health eating issues are serious and one can deduce that what an individual consumes can have an effect with overall health.

I challenge higher education students; undergraduate, graduate, professional as well as higher education professionals to take action now to reap and enjoy good health.  I am aware of the many distractions individuals face as they are in pursuit of academic completion such as; personal obstacles, school discomforts, appealing restaurants on campus, etc. but remember your health is equally important for achieving success.

Stated below are proposed key essentials higher education students and professionals should devote to in order to enjoy Good Health.

  • Keep GOD first in all that you do. Remember you are nothing without GOD!

  • Hydrate!! Drink plenty of Water

  • Consume the suggested daily intake of fruits and vegetables

  • Enjoy healthy snacking

  • Get plenty of rest

  • Stay Active. Exercise

  • Steer Clear of Negativity.

Scripture Reference:

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

3 John 1:2 NIV

Giving you something to think about,
