College Success Tip #37 - Study Commitment

Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.

Proverbs 16:3

Studying requires absolute commitment. Commitment is the engaging of oneself as by pledge or assurance. As it relates to studying the Higher Education student must commit to study times, study breaks and productive study sessions to ensure success.

The only way to obtain a Higher Education degree one must be committed to going to class, participating in class, passing the course to advance to the next level.

The only way to effectively pass a course with God-honoring values is to make the commitment and stay committed in studying for the required assignments and content so that one will pass the course.

Commitment is key! There are no short cuts that have fruitful long-lasting results. Some of your academic peers will do things that are not God-honoring as it relates to their higher education progression but your aim is to Aim towards the target of God-honoring values. It is vital that you remain committed to what God has called you to do during this season and that is to remain committed in your studies to see results that are not only seen in degree attainment, but information that will stick with you in your long-term memory that can be utilized well after the college journey.

Peace & God Bless,

Aiming Towards the Target,

Dr. Bryant
