Know well the condition of your flocks, and give attention to your herds,
According to the American Dictionary of the English Language 1828 Priority is defined as precedence in place or rank.
So, my questions to Higher Education students include the following:
What are your academic priorities?
What is the importance of maintaining and having academic priorities?
A lot of students don't walk on a college campus with it all figured out of what they need to do and what is a priority, but as time goes on this is something you learn as you go, live, learn and experience.
But one thing that you should have made up in your mind as a Higher Education student pursuing a degree is what is important to you and what are you willing to do in order to obtain that which is important to you? (With God-honoring motives and actions of course).
For some Higher Education students whether (Undergrad, Grad School, Bible College, First Generation, Transitional Students) their academic priorities include:
Making the necessary accommodations to dedicate a specific amount of Study hours.
Choosing to not answer the phone past a certain time in the evening hours to ensure a continuous schedule for rest, relaxation and refocus.
Electing to only hang with friends and family /relatives in social settings on specific days for specific events. and purposes
Deciding to join or not to join a club or organization on or off campus.
As well as Making the decision to prioritize God-honoring friendships, connections and associations and ending fruitless ones.
No matter the decisions you are faced with on a daily basis as it relates to your Higher Education targets be sure to pray and ask God to continuously bless you with wisdom, knowledge and understanding as you aim towards the target of your Academic and God-honoring priorities.
Peace & God Bless.
Aiming Towards the Target,
